I (Nikki Phillippi) have uploaded my 9 week pregnancy update. I show you my baby bump at 9 weeks or a bumpdate. I go over how I am feeling during my first trimester and what symptoms I have, such as nausea. I talk about how vitamin B 6 has helped me. I am so excited to take you along on my pregnancy journey. I feel so grateful to be a traditional Christian women and stay at home wife, as well as work from home in Nashville, TN. SAHW. I feel that staying in shape, working on my fitness routine, and eating fresh foods helps me maintain a healthy Christian lifestyle in Nashville 2019.

I love hearing about how your pregnancy has been with all of the bodily struggles that you had before getting pregnant because I experience a lot of the same things daily and it is just really neat hearing how it’s been different now!

  2. SixFortySeven on August 19, 2020 at 10:28 pm

I actually threw up most of my 1st trimester. I found protein helped, since i wasnt very hungry.

  3. Brooke Heather on August 19, 2020 at 10:29 pm

I don’t want to repeat what I say in every one of your pregnancy videos, but I love the realness. Those symptoms seem like no joke. Honestly, the nausea is the thing I’ve always been most scared for, even more so than the rest of the pregnancy. I have a really sensitive tummy even on good days. I’m glad you’re sharing your tips for the nausea and I will definitely rewatch all these videos when I get pregnant!

Round ligament pains. On the sides. Its the name of when your stretching.

  7. Danika Leon on August 19, 2020 at 10:37 pm

I’m so excited abut these videos! I’m only one or two weeks behind you with my first and it’s great to hear your symptoms and experiences. I’m happy you’re so upfront so early in your pregnancy. It’s hard when you’re expected to keep things a secret for so long.

  8. Alesha Roth on August 19, 2020 at 10:40 pm

I had a terrible first trimester and I had almost constant nausea until about 20 weeks. I was also never “scared” of delivery. I had a crazy long labor, 53 hours and 5 hours of pushing, and I would still do labor 2x if I could skip the first trimester. Birth is hard but it’s purposeful where as the nausea was hard to wrap my head around it’s usefulness (even though i knew it meant the hormones were getting stronger and growing baby).

I loved everyone about this video! Please keep doing video updates as you get further along in your pregnancy ☺️

For my pregnancy, I started feeling better around 10 weeks. It’s only uphill from here… Until the last month anyways.

  18. Erica Skrivan on August 19, 2020 at 10:55 pm

Great video! I’m currently 30 weeks pregnant and it’s nice to hear even at this point in my pregnancy what others faced during their first trimester. I totally get that stretching as well, I believe it could be your organs moving as well to make room for the baby. Crazy what our bodies go through! I felt nauseous until about 13 weeks and my second trimester was a breeze in comparison. Excited to follow along with your journey, I’d love to see these updates throughout!

  19. Dakota Chabot on August 19, 2020 at 11:02 pm

  20. kalecitalinda on August 19, 2020 at 11:02 pm

    I’m dying hahaha
That was me the first trimester. It was the first 4 months. They were horrible. It does get better. I lost weight with out even trying.
So happy I know that you are doing well (considering). Love from Chile

  24. Jordan Chavis on August 19, 2020 at 11:11 pm

The stretching type pains sound like round ligament pain. It is your uterus expanding!! You’re not making it up! Lol!!

  25. Aubrey Horton on August 19, 2020 at 11:12 pm

I’m 9 weeks pregnant and feeling extremely sick and down in the dumps. I came back to this video for someone to relate to. So thank you. ❤️

  32. Chick2768 on August 19, 2020 at 11:18 pm

Love how honest you are! Can’t wait to keep following your pregnancy journey ❤️

  33. Melissa2087 on August 19, 2020 at 11:18 pm

I’m not pregnant nor have I been. But I love hearing you talk about it because I feel like a lot of people sugar coat everything and you just speak about it in such a way where it is relatable. I honestly don’t know how to describe it but these are great. I’m 32 and getting married in November. I don’t know if I want kids or not… a) because I’m selfish and I really only like things for myself and not sharing and b) I am TERRIFIED of nausea and childbirth as well. To me, thats enough not to have kids. I know it’s silly but its such a fear.

  34. Cynthia Raimondi on August 19, 2020 at 11:19 pm

Thanks for sharing! you can definitely tell you’re feeling better!

aww mine got worse when I hit 9/10/11 weeks. I’m 13 weeks today and luckily it’s started wearing off. btw don’t take zofran for nausea it causes birthing defects. vitamin b6!

  37. mmishmichelle on August 19, 2020 at 11:22 pm

I don’t know how interesting this would be for others, but I would love to hear what you and Dan are thinking for baby names. Maybe it could be a future video.

  38. Rebekah Tipton on August 19, 2020 at 11:23 pm

Just wanted to let you know that I really love the content you create on here! I don’t remember ever subscribing to you but it’s been years now and whenever I’m feeling overwhelmed with my own life or what’s been going on online I watch your videos and they help me to really stay grounded and think about the simple beauties of life. It’s also really cool because I’ve grown up in Tennessee my whole life, born in Nashville and hated it for so long and now I’m in love with where I live and how simple and wonderful life can be and your videos always remind me of that.

  39. misskellie2 on August 19, 2020 at 11:23 pm

Aw, I love your ultrasound video! So cute!

  40. Kristin Milla on August 19, 2020 at 11:24 pm

I’m so glad you are starting to feel better.

  41. Rebecca Austin on August 19, 2020 at 11:24 pm

Ive been watching your videos for a while but I can so relate to this video! I feel like you are speaking of everything I am having. I am only 6 and a half weeks pregnant and I have been SOOO sick in the last few days and nothing works. One minute I want to eat something and then it is the most disgusting thing I have ever had and the energy levels are like zero! Please tell me it gets better haha. All worth it in the end.

  42. Caitlin Beamer on August 19, 2020 at 11:24 pm

I love your honesty… this journey is not all glowy skin and cute baby bumps!!
