I think there is only one diet that has been proven to be the best for long life and good health i.e. a whole food plant based lifestyle. All the videos on diet can be replaced by this way of life.
since 2001 i have been on this never-ending journey with eating healthy… right now having a hude delicious salad but missing a small bite of chocolate :))
My husband is diabetic. Is there something I can use instead of maple syrup or honey in a lot of the recipes. With out using artificial sweeteners?
Eat what comes from nature not factory and DONT EAT TO MUCHHH twice day a meal..is enough and all your bodys problem go away…..
Breakfast: Sweet potato, egg and zucchini with avocado
Snack: Chia parfait with berries, nuts, honey
Lunch: Salmon, potato, green beans
Snack: Dried fruit and nuts
Dinner: Chicken, potato with cabbage, kale, broccoli
Snack: Peanut butter and banana with chamomile tea
Saturdays: 1 small dessert after lunch
Make this meal plan a daily habit for a well balanced diet

Calorie and macro counting has been transformational for me. I am not limited in any way, shape of form, and know exactly what I’m eating. I’ve lost 20 pounds, no longer over-eat, and have learnt portion control.
A lot of things I used to eat suddenly stepped into the light as not being very good.
You just have to have balance. Have a takeaway every now and again, or treat yourself to days where you don’t count at all.

Nice clean sensible advice. Can you speak about vitamins and supplements. I have rarely consistently taken any but sometimes it’s recommended. I’m a bit skeptical. What do you think is the healthiest perspective about taking any vitamins…multi or otherwise?
Im tired of seeing the "quick fix" content. Thank you for this video. I realized that i just need to start with the science of it, the nutritional value of meals, workouts the REALLY work for me, and a change in my mindset. It is a total lifestyle change, and its going to take time. Im young, i dont need to rush and hurt myself.

i feel like one problem i have is that i’ll want a snack but my parents just buy unhealthy food even if i’m trying to get healthy

tbh, I feel like i’m not doing a healthy and clean diet is because all the “healthy” recipes are mainly cooked in a westernized way that’s too bland for my taste. it would be nice if there were more diversity in healthy cooking.
