DANGEROUS ESSENTIAL OILS FOR DOGS – TOXIC FOR DOGS

There is a common misconception that all natural ingredients are safe. Many natural substances are highly toxic and irritating even though they are obtained from plants.

For example poison ivy. 100% natural does not mean 100% safe.

Essential oils are, due to their high concentration, especially prone to misuse. Most aromatherapy books will discourage you from using certain essential oils. So please don’t be curious, don’t try them, not even on yourself. These can be toxic and dangerous.

Is this just for diffusing around them and using them on them? What if I clean the floor with one of these more toxic essential oils? Is that bad for them?

How about citrus oils and cinnamon or clove oil in diffusing?
