How to make essential oils with 4" steam distiller Ukrainian Copper still

Finally, I recorded a video for our new model. Previously we were exploring 5 l distillers with 3″ column. Now, it’s time to represent 5l distiller with 4″ column. The main difference in capacity of the column. On this distiller, we can easy to produce 5 ml essential oils for 40 minutes.

    So… the amount of oil that you pipetted from the top is the essential oil yield from the lavender? That seems like a very small amount.

    hello Copper Pro, I am interested in the copper essential oil distillation kit. I like the design, however the essential oil does not look pure and contains organic brown material in the oil, mostly at the interface with the hydrsol. Can you please tell me what this material is, how it is formed, and how to get rid of it. Look forward to hearing from you.

    Ahhh yes, paper books to prop up the burner plate….absolutely nothing could go wrong with that setup.

    As with your previous video, this one also shows herb solids carried over into the essential oil. This indicates that there is inadequate separation and filtration between the herb solids and steam distillate.
