Hey Melissa you were talking about Clary Sage please please please asap get Plant Therapy’s (specifically) Clary Sage they have hands down the very best smelling C.S. comparing it with other brands you wouldn’t even think it was the same oil it smells much more refined and beautiful like a perfume I sometimes wear it as a cologne is that good. So please do yourself a favor and order a bottle!! If you do please let me know what you think!! 🙂

    So they are just…smelly?

  8. Penni McCormick on March 11, 2021 at 11:46 pm

I take a damp paper towel and drop some lemon oil and it to clean my mirrors. Then I wipe them down with a mirror microfiber towel. Glass sparkles!!

I use lemon, lavender, peppermint, lemongrass and frankincense the most. I used your tea tree soap scum buster just now. I love it. I used lavender dish soap with it. I cleaned the corners and walls with most of it. I have a clean broom that I use to clean the tub floor. It is easier to scrub there that way. I used what was left in the bowl for that.

What do you recommend for essential oils for car vent felt pads ? If I combine lavender and vanilla do I need to add carrier oil ?

Just got a diffuser for christmas, i thought it was a humidifier at first. It came with eucalyptus which is pretty nice but what would you recommend for a beginner? I dont really have any allergies it would be just for aroma/therapeutic. Looking for anxiety calming and scents that make women feel very cozy in your home haha

  14. Sandra Knecht on March 11, 2021 at 11:52 pm

I love peppermint oil, lemon oil and cinnamon. I also use the lemon oil and sometimes to switch it our, peppermint or spearmint in my water.

  15. Sarah Gillespie on March 11, 2021 at 11:52 pm

Also, a quick note on Thieves’ Blend – the original recipe, reprinted in Mandy Aftel’s "Fragrant" (a must-read for EO fans) consisted of rosemary, oregano, lavender and cloves and so would have smelled nothing like the exotic "Thieves" being sold today. Cinnamon would have been way too expensive for 15th-century French thieves, and eucalyptus didn’t even make it to Europe till 1774. Everything else about the story is correct, however, and I’m looking forward to trying to recreate the (real) Thieves’ Blend once I buy some oregano EO!

I totally recommend doTERRA essential oils. They aren’t like those cheap ones. They are a little pricey, but it’s quality.

  21. Melissa Nichols on March 12, 2021 at 12:00 am

I get my essential oils from bulk stores locally, so they just refill my little bottles. it’s amazing!

  22. allegri9cl on March 12, 2021 at 12:00 am

I have been shopping essential oil from Mystic Moments on ebay.. smells very pure and amazing. So far one faulty product but they were okay to refund or replace but shipping it from sydney to the UK was not worth it. But otherwise their jasmine, lemongrass and other oils are very good. Some are undiluted and very pure so have to be careful. Once it ate away a plastic container.

I fell in love with a pump soap fragrance that I barely use it so I can have it around a long time for sniffing purposes.
It’s Method, Fall Collection (from 5 ish years ago)
It’s a warm, woodsy, sweet scent. How would I replicate that scent with oils?
The description: A delicate blend of warm milk and sweet mallow, like cashmere for your nose. I sense sandlewood?

  28. Mshanga F on March 12, 2021 at 12:13 am

I think the best way to use essential oil is to use it with a diffuser.

  29. jukes243 on March 12, 2021 at 12:14 am

Peppermint, Spearmint, and lemon are my favs. I haven’t tried combing oils yet, but after hearing this, I will! Thanks. Btw, I do not care for floral scents either.

What about asthmatic patience, who are ( children ) will they trigger (medical code ICD493 or j45 ) that result to a visit to a pulmonology doctor ? Concerned if due caution practiced in public space?

  34. Sarah Gillespie on March 12, 2021 at 12:18 am

If you’re in Europe, look out for the Czech brand Saloos – they’re incredibly cheap for such high-quality oils so I’ve built up a collection pretty fast. Also, UK folks should check out Women’s Balance by Neal’s Yard – one of the most divine combinations I’ve ever smelled.

I wish I could say I have a favourite "type" of EO but it honestly changes every few hours! Right now I love spearmint. It’s like the "tea" to peppermint’s "coffee," – I still feel focused, but not wired. A couple of combinations I’m loving on Pinterest right now – clary sage/juniper/lime and sandalwood/ylang-ylang/clove. Both are incredible!

I’d love to be able to add the premium EOs to my collection one day, like rose, jasmine and neroli, but even here in Czech Republic they’re so expensive (jasmine is $16 for 1ml!). Maybe I’ll request them for Christmas, but I’d be too scared to ever use them in a blend in case I messed up!

Orange, sage and lemon. I have many recipes as I clean many homes.

  37. JEB Stuart on March 12, 2021 at 12:22 am

Essential Oils are certainly that…..ESSENTIAL!!!! No question about it, and ZEVA oils are (I believe) if not the best, pretty darn close to it. They ain’t cheap neither!

Winner of a video, I been tryin to find out about "what ingredients are in scented candles?" for a while now, and I think this has helped. You ever tried – Peyadison Peerless Prestige – (do a search on google ) ? It is a smashing exclusive product for discovering how to make candles for fun or money minus the normal expense. Ive heard some great things about it and my work buddy got great success with it.

My problem is the price, I need larger sizes, and here is a example,
I bought, 3. 16oz bottles and paid almost 20.00 just for shipping.
The oils was 54.00, and buy the time I paid taxes and shipping, the order was 74.00,

I read that tea tree is good for fighting germs. Can I add it to my liquid hand soap? How much should I add?

  44. Penni McCormick on March 12, 2021 at 12:28 am

Thieves is good for when you don’t want to get sick. I diffuse it and clean with it at work when someone comes in sick.
