So you shame people into thinking that their cancer is their own fault so that you can charge them thousands of dollars for stuff that doesn’t work and when it doesn’t work you just say you’re not doing it right then.

  2. Amanda Kongsted on April 17, 2019 at 7:23 pm

    Wonderful explanation 🙂

Alternative medicine is for stupid people.

  5. james zacharias on April 17, 2019 at 7:26 pm

Holistic medicine is based off of false and outdated information. It is not based off of fact or reason, but rather superstition. I believe in a god, but I don’t believe in this. The real medical system makes lives better for billions around the world and is on the brink of completely revolutionizing mankind. why do people want to hinder this? I’m sorry to say this but there is only "western" medicine and nothing else.

  6. The Scoop! on April 17, 2019 at 7:27 pm

The medical system thinks that synthetic man made substances not found in nature and alien to human evolution are more effective at treating disease. It’s a mere coincidence that they can be patented and therefore are more profitable to Big Pharma. You see, the human body evolved over thousands of years so that some day, man in all his infinite wisdom would come up with the substances the body needs to heal.

I’ve read somewhere in the comments about someone who stopped eating meat and diary products. I ate a steak ( well done) and it was really hard on my body I felt like, especially with chewing. I mean I was chewing for a long time and still managed to choke a little when swallowing so I can image how much time it takes to digest in my stomach and go through the intestines. I also would drink milk ( the blue cap) everyday because I like eating cereal and I noticed that I would get gassy and my stomach would make bubbling sounds.

Im going back to the medical field and This video was very informative in helping me with decisions I’ll be making in the near future ,but I know for a fact, many people still believe in a magical pill that will cure everything. People that are lazy and do not like taking responsibility for their well-being will always look down on, Solutions or remedies that requires them to be a part of / held responsible for their health status .

  10. Addicted to Mercy on April 17, 2019 at 7:36 pm

Needs some editing and a bit too talky, but clearly a necessary distinction that the public needs to be aware of.  Thank you.

  11. ev7120 on April 17, 2019 at 7:38 pm

Natropaths are quacks! If this stuff worked there wouldn’t be real doctors practicing real medicine. When you go to the hospital they don’t give pts who had a stroke herbs or ultra diluted amounts of nothingness. Its a joke and a waste of money…Go to a real doctor and get real results

  12. Carl Johnson on April 17, 2019 at 7:39 pm

There is only one real doctor in this video, although I think he loses some credibility for even entertaining this type of bullshit.

  13. TELEVISIONARCHIVES on April 17, 2019 at 7:39 pm

    Holestic Doctors should be avoided.

  14. Sean S on April 17, 2019 at 7:40 pm

this is so insulting; exercise and nutrition are not "alternative’. And what does it mean to treat the cause of disease if the cause is imaginary like chi or subluxation.

  15. The Phisician on April 17, 2019 at 7:43 pm

Integrative Medicine, i don,t know you already heard about, but you realy should.

In this video, I make a clone of myself so I can properly debate #AlternativeMedicine and compare it to standard surgical/pharmaceutical #HealthCare.

  18. Dr. Sten Ekberg on April 17, 2019 at 7:47 pm

Great video. I also have a comparison on Medical Doctors vs Traditional Chiropractors vs Holistic Chiropractors.

    Can you be both ?

What is a Chiropractic Internist ?

  21. Numb Nest on April 17, 2019 at 7:48 pm

There is more preventative medicine in the medical model than in the past. This is a newer approach but has been pushed hard. For example: lifestyle changes are given for people with pre disease such as prediabetes, prehypertension etc. So the middle ground is getting bigger.

It’s nice BUT A VERY BIG B U T it is not a DISCUSSION …. and WE is too much … it’s a pity that you did not do it as a discussion with the other person who may have represented the other side just the same way as you wished but in a form of discussion….

  27. Sean Madden on April 17, 2019 at 7:55 pm

  29. Jessica Mouyal on April 17, 2019 at 7:57 pm

I am looking into this as a career. As I recently cut meat and dairy from my diet, I notice my body feeling more in harmony with itself, and I’d like to help others, not only not to die, but to thrive with the powers that reside in nature and the energy that is meant to be used in our universe. I wish I knew where to start though . Should I study oriental medicine ? Become a naturopath ? an acupuncturist ? I have no idea…all i know is that I want to be a natural healer.

Is holistic medicine an alternative medicine branch or is it the same?

  32. Chuckie Peoples on April 17, 2019 at 8:02 pm

There’s a reason alternative medicine isn’t called medicine. If it worked, they’d drop the word: alternative.

  33. Kara Cole on April 17, 2019 at 8:02 pm

I have always been inquisitive. The “Why” has always been important to me when it comes to my health. Don’t just give me a pill to try and tell me if it doesn’t work, you’ll give me another pill. I don’t want to be a guinea pig. Don’t tell me my disease is “normal” just because it is common. It is very discouraging to hear these things from MD’s. That is why I rely on Natural medicine. It is the only thing that actually makes sense to me for every day issues. All disease starts in the gut. Makes sense. Change my gut, change my health!

Now if you’re bleeding to death, yeah go see an MD at the ER.

  34. BaLayEunMi on April 17, 2019 at 8:04 pm

Losing weight and eating an appropriate diet can help or reverse many health conditions. For some things like Hashimoto’s , there is no cure, so the only way to be well is to take hormone replacement. It’s chemically identical to the T4 a healthy thyroid makes, and the vast majority of people do well on it. For the small percentage who still feel unwell after being tested and properly medicated, it’s due to other conditions. Not every pain or ache or being tired or whatever is due to thyroid disease. Neither is being over weight or obese. 60%+ Americans are overweight or obese, but most of them don’t have thyroid problems.

Why are more people convinced by the Medical Medicine?

  36. -MouseAccuracy- on April 17, 2019 at 8:05 pm

I would say preventing death is the only reason the medical field exists.

  37. Amy Waller on April 17, 2019 at 8:06 pm

Using "alternative" medicine, I have reversed or have managed to control three autoimmune diseases. Diabetes type 2(reversed), hidradenitis supprivata(controlled), and IBS(controlled). So no this type of medicine is not fake. It’s about taking care of the person as a whole being rather than treating a symptom like the "normal" medical community does.

Having family on both sides of medicine I think this is a very Poor representation of medicinal medicine or conventional medicine. The real goals are in the 4 levels of care. (In my family I have 2 MD brothers, a naturopathic doctor as an aunt, and I have decided to become a D.O. (in short 2 conventional and 2 alternative type medicine)) This is the M.D. perspective that D.O. doctors have been adopting due to the fact that it is truly Holistic.

Primary care: Things like exercise, diet, environment, strong support structure. If conventional doctors could write a prescription for ANYTHING in the world, it would be a supportive family followed closely by proper diet and exercise in patients. Also included in primary care is vaccines because they prevent diseases and have saved millions upon millions of lives. Unless you are in the emergency room, a conventional doctor is trained to take a VERY holistic approach to medicine.

Secondary care: Disease screening, a disease screen is a medical procedure to try to identify high risk disease in at risk populations of the world and a cheap enough price. This is going to be cancer screening, TB tests, etc. The main function here is to analyze and diagnose an impending disease before there are any complications associated.

Tertiary care: Once there is an illness with which we know the cause of the disease we have 3 types of treatment.
    1. Remove ALL risk factors where possible. The first goal is always to remove problems so the body can heal itself.
    2. Are there any curative medicines out there. Give antibiotics to treat bacteria, diuretics to treat hypertension, and hopefully if there is a cure to cure the given disease.
    3. Lastly, there are some diseases in which there is no known cure. In these cases we can give medicines to help treat the symptoms. In these patients instead of curing the disease we give symptom relief by removing pain, nausea, depression, or fatigue as best we can.

Quaternary care: This is emergency level Advanced life saving measures. I think this video explains Quaternary care well enough.

I loved your video and I agree with you! My dad was diagnosed with hodgkins Lymphoma stage 4 in 2006; they did the chemo and radiation, however, the cancer kept appearing every few months in other places. He went through stem cell transplants as well but not much luck there. One day, my dad went to his dr for a routine check… He was talking to another patient next to him then next thing he knew, he felt his soul rip from his body and seen himself laying there. Dead. He could hear the dr and nurses calling his name, but his soul was traveling at this point through a tunnel up to the sky. He said he felt a love so powerful up there he didn’t want to leave. But he heard a voice tell him it wasn’t his time. Like a flash, he returned to his body and woke up. Everyone was scared shitless!!! They immediately checked him and ran tests. Everything was perfect. He was cancer free and healthier than the average Joe. Now, bare with me to my point on how this relates to the holistic and all natural healing from the source lol the Dr’s told my dad to take it easy to refrain from stress. Well, he didn’t listen. He hates feeling unproductive. He went back to work, was stressed out, and cancer came back. This time, it kicked my dad harder than before. He tried to do all the treatments but could no longer. His body was so weak. He was given 2 months to live, if that. Randomly, my parents had an email that said "how to cure almost any cancer". I don’t know if you’ve heard of it or not but it’s Bill Henderson’s protocol. He bought the book and ordered the specific supplements he needed for his severe cancer along with the cottage cheese and organic flax seed oil regimen. He was in complete remission in 2 months. It was all natural. He’s been in remission since 2011. (Sorry for the long post, but it’s my dad’s testimonial to Jesus and the natural stuff he put on earth for us. My dad is a fighter and I like to tell his story to others) Thank you for taking your time to read this. God Bless♡

Hello Dr. Berglund, I just dropped out of pharmacy school this week to go into holistic alternative medicine. I was just too conflicted with so many aspects of pharmacy and everything in me is drawn to holistic healing. I just know I was sent to be a healer and it is truly what I love to do. I have so many questions but I don’t have anyone to ask questions regarding this field. Could I contact you via email or something to ask questions? I can tell that you are very passionate about your field, and I am also very passionate about this field and serving people. To heal myself, I’ve had to study so much regarding holistic medicine on my own, so I do have a lot of knowledge on various aspects despite not going to school for it specifically. I’ve personally experienced the powerful health benefits of alternative medicine and I’ve become extremely healthy and vibrant. I don’t know if there’s any way I could help you at this moment of my career, but if there’s anything you need help with, I am definitely willing to help. Thank you, Kenneth
